Asian Americans are the fastest-growing major ethnic group in the United States. More than 20 million Asians live in America. Asian Americans contribute in every sector our society and trace their roots to more than 20 countries in East and Southeast Asia and the Indian subcontinent, each with unique histories, cultures, languages and other characteristics. We will collect best stories of Asian American immigrants into a book called “Born in Asia – Stories of Celebrated Asian Americans. The selected stories and Asian Americans will also be featured in the documentary.
